Gawie Vorster started Destine Private Investigators, in Pretoria in 1978.
During 1989 he relocated to Table view near Cape Town and operated for a number of years under that name.
During this time he worked on a number of well-known cases, naturally he become well known and respected in South Africa working internationally and locally as a private investigator. He was featured and interviewed by Derek Watts on Carte Blanche. He was also interviewed by acclaimed writer Heather Dugmore and featured in the media - including Personality (Cover Page), You magazine, Farmers Weekly, Landbou Weekblad and the Sunday Times.
During 1994 he relocated to the west coast and changed the name of the agency to the present Eagle Investigations.
